Her talent in revealing the alluring aesthetic within the ordinary makes us connect with the song on another level, yes it will pass, or we assume it will, but in any case, the beauty in life remains.

Neda Mamo designed the new visual identity of the AI scanning app for the blind: Supersense, but how does one design a visual world for the blind?

Supersense came to us to collaborate on rebranding their visual identity. We were confused about the target audience first, but they quickly reminded us that blindness is not a singular experience, it has different types and degrees.

This fact made it clear that designing visuals for the app required additional research on the diversity within the experiences of the blind. Each text, pattern and composition had to be designed with additional awareness on the contrast of colours in order to be understandable.

We agreed together that Neda, with her colourful and dynamic style, was the perfect creative to take on this job. Neda was meticulous in her research and creative process, and her designs ended to be both stunning and inclusive.

Designed in partnership with ASUS and ROG for the anniversary of our illustration gallery famstore°, Ozmoz (Osmosis) features the work of 23 artists.

Ozmoz, is a brand-new interactive exhibition experience that transfers you from the world of illustration to the world of gaming. It is an audiovisual labyrinth where 23 illustrations from famstore°s new collection are turned into 3D rooms. Participants must discover a way out from each room while exploring the colourful worlds that they enter.

This technically and creatively challenging project emerged from our contemplations on how we can reflect the culture of illustration in a way that challenges our visual perceptions. Ozmoz aims to revive/restore the feeling of enchantment we get from a profound engagement with art, using the contemporary tools of our age.

What will the world be like after Covid-19? Selin Tahtakılıç’s illustrated the predictions of  ATÖLYE’s co-founder Engin Ayaz regarding the post-Covid-19 world. Selin invites us to imagine a world where the fish of Venice are back, where neighbourhoods regain importance, where we reconnect with nature and each household is connected through digital platforms.

A meteor is about to drop in Nova Norda’s new music video “Kim üzdü seni?” (Who broke your heart?) Two characters in the story consult a book that contains advises about what to do in this tricky situation. Designed and executed by Kübra Su Yıldırım, the book actually provides universal and timeless advises through visually intriguing worlds.

The artwork series curated for Metex Studio Erk Architecture Studio includes custom artworks by Tutku Sevinç and Elif Demir. Sevinç’s 3 acrylic-based works are inspired by the dynamics of urban-suburban and rural sceneries whereas Demir’s works focus on perspective landscapes through a minimal architectural style.

When you are out of a yoga class in Advayta or just dropping by for ayurvedic food, you can now read the manifesto of Nobo while you wait in line to order. Designed and executed by Sim Onay, the design represents the balance within nature, simplicity and diligence.

Uğur Altun’s illustration for ATÖLYE’s Medium article titled, “How an unexpected alliance between Service Design and Business Design can help design better services” summorizes the whole story with details in one image. Two gears representing who different design services and two different set of values contrary to common belief work together and create an environment that is fruitful and beneficial for both of them.

Sneaks Up’s new retail store has a basketball court inside! Ozan Atalay’s illustrations of King James, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Elena Delle Donne is on the walls of this court. Illustrated with meticulous detail, the positions of these characters, their uniforms, shoes and balls represent a particular style.

Commissioned for a personal project, Yaren Yavuz portrays the friendship of five women with her own unique style. Yavuz invites us to rethink the bondages between women with her vibrant colors.

These short gifs were produced to accompany Can Ozan on stage. Each piece provides a visual story that represents the core of a song. Artists who partook in this project are Cansu Bayrambey, Elif Demir, Hande Koçhan, Maya Kurdoğlu and Tutku Sevinç.

A presentation plays a critical role in creating the first impression of a brand. One of Turkey’s most powerful foundations, Sabancı Vakfı, trusted Sim Onay’s graphical skills in updating the visual design of their presentation to match its vision, and the outcome was a dynamic, memorable and intriguing design.

Similar to bee colonies, each community has their own interaction dynamics, but what does this interaction entail? Selin Tahatkılıç’s illustration for ATÖLYE’s Medium article investigating this question portrays an analogy between the communication networks of bees during honey making processes and the interaction web of communities.

Nezih Yaman’s lyric video for Emre Kula’s song Out Loud is a perfect mash of two artists from different fields. Not only they both represent the same rock-n-roll soul, but Nezih achieves to translate each emotion and detail of the song to a visual language. We see the world of the one-eyed character which represents the old man who inspired this song to be written and enter his life through Nezih’s imagination.

Eylül Deniz Ergun’s lyric video for famous Turkish song from the 90s called “Güle Güle Şekerim” (Bye-bye honey) by Sertab Erener brings a fresh perspective to the popular tune. Combining her dynamic and vibrant style with photos of female telephone operators Ergun brings the old and the new in a colourful way.

Mina Yancı’s animation was designed to accompany Sertab Erener’s live performance of the song, “Sakin Ol” (Relax). The live recording of line art design combined with the typographic elements creates a diverse visual choreography for the multi rhythmic song.

The cover art illustrated by Hande Koçan for Can Ozan’s single “Ön Koltuk” (Front Seat) combines humor, the Mediterranean and the nostalgic memory of a road trip. It aims to make you feel the breeze in your hair when you close your eyes while listening to the song and imagine the leopard head is moving up and down while you drive in a summer evening.

The artwork series we curated for Nike’s new İstanbul office includes sports-themed custom artworks of Melih Çebi, Ece Ağırtmış, Günseli Sepici and Elif Demir that contribute visual stories to the dynamic world of Nike.
